Colleen Hoover’s ‘Reminders of Him’ Film Casts Rising Star Rudy Pankow

LOS ANGELES, April 16, 2025 — Universal Pictures has officially cast Rudy Pankow, known for his role in the Netflix series *Outer Banks*, to star in the upcoming film adaptation of Colleen Hoover‘s bestselling novel, *Reminders of Him*. The film is set to be directed by Vanessa Caswill and is slated for release in February 2026.

*Reminders of Him* follows the story of Kenna Rowan, a woman who returns to her hometown after five years in prison, trying to reconnect with her estranged daughter. However, the community’s perception of her makes her journey exceedingly difficult, as her past looms large over her attempts at redemption.

Colleen Hoover, whose works have garnered significant acclaim, collaborated with Lauren Levine on the screenplay for the adaptation.
