Conan O'brien Late Night Show Appearance

Los Angeles, CA — Conan O'Brien is reportedly in discussions to appear on NBC‘s Late-Night show, which celebrates its 40th anniversary. If confirmed, this will mark the first time all three previous hosts of the show — David Letterman, O’Brien, and Jimmy Fallon — share the stage.

Seth Meyers, the current host, made the announcement Tuesday night during an event in Los Angeles. When friend and moderator Ike Barinholtz asked who his ‘golden goose’ guest would be, Meyers expressed excitement at the prospect of having O’Brien back on the show. ‘I’ve spoken to this person, and I think it will happen soon. They’ve expressed their desire to do it,’ he said.

O’Brien, who hosted Late-Night from 1993 until 2009, was honored at the Kennedy Center recently, which Meyers referred to as an ‘incredible night.’ Meyers welcomed Letterman and Fallon on his show previously, making O’Brien the last of the trio to appear.

In related news, Meyers is set to welcome another high-profile guest, George Clooney, next week. This appearance marks Clooney’s first time on Late-Night and comes as he stars in a Broadway adaptation of his acclaimed film, Good Night, and Good Luck. Clooney’s initial scheduled appearance was on May 5 but was canceled.
