Lauren Kyle Restaurant Opening Edmonton

Edmonton, Canada – Lauren Kyle, wife of Edmonton Oilers captain Connor McDavid, is set to launch her restaurant, Bar Trove, in the historic Canada Permanent Building in downtown Edmonton. The opening of Bar Trove marks a new venture for Kyle, who is also the founder of Trove Living, a high-end furniture brand.

Before the grand opening, her friend Rachel Gagner, wife of former Oilers player Sam Gagner, shared an exclusive sneak peek on social media. Gagner posted a photo on her Instagram Story, revealing a warm and stylish ambiance that features wood-paneled walls, fashionable artwork, and cozy decor.

A standout element of the restaurant is a framed photograph of McDavid’s dog, Lenard, dressed in military attire. This personal touch adds character to the restaurant and highlights Kyle’s attention to detail.

Gagner expressed her excitement in her post, stating, “Can’t wait to celebrate this beautiful place.” Her enthusiasm has sparked interest among Oilers fans, increasing the buzz around the upcoming opening.

Kyle initially announced plans for Bar Trove in January 2025, and since then, she has provided regular updates on its progress, including photographs of design elements and construction. She has described the restaurant as a place to “enjoy fine wines and expertly crafted cocktails,” aiming to blend a modern aesthetic with comfort.

With her background as an interior designer, Kyle has created a unique and stylish dining experience. The historic location in the Canada Permanent Building adds further charm to the project.

As the opening date approaches, anticipation continues to build among locals and Oilers fans. The combination of a chic atmosphere and the association with McDavid makes Bar Trove a highly anticipated establishment.
