Conor McGregor’s Kids Follow in His Footsteps with Irish Dancing Classes
Irish UFC star Conor McGregor‘s children are embracing Irish dancing classes, following in his footsteps in a different form of art. McGregor revealed that his eldest kids, Conor Jack Jr., Croía Mairéad, and Croía Mairéad, are actively engaged in dance school activities.
At the recent New York City premiere of the Road House remake, McGregor expressed his love for Irish dancing, a traditional art form that he also pursued during his school days, showcasing his nimble footwork.
The fighter emphasized the benefits of Irish dancing, noting how it can enhance agility and quickness, factors crucial in combat sports. McGregor’s son participates in the dance form, highlighting the family’s appreciation for the art.
McGregor’s own Irish dance skills have even made appearances in his MMA performances, with one of his moves named after Riverdance star Michael Flatley. The UFC star, a fan of the original 1989 Road House film starring Patrick Swayze, made his acting debut in the remake and lauded Jake Gyllenhaal‘s performance as Dalton.
Gyllenhaal’s portrayal in the new Road House, which premiered on Amazon Prime Video, showcased his fighting abilities, drawing admiration from McGregor who expressed gratitude for learning from the accomplished actor.
