Country Singer Preparing for Baby No. 3 Before Summer Tour

AUSTIN, Texas — Country singer Sam Hunt is eagerly awaiting the arrival of his third child with wife Hannah Lee Fowler, just weeks before his summer tour begins. During an interview at the iHeartCountry Festival on May 3, Hunt shared that his family will soon grow as they prepare for another addition.

At 40 years old, Hunt said, “I’m hoping that Hannah feels up to bringing all three [kids] out this summer because we’re going to have another one in about three weeks.” The couple already shares daughter Lucy Louise, 2½, and son Lowry Lee, 18 months.

Hunt mentioned they have a short time frame before the tour kicks off, stating, “So we’ll have about six weeks before we get going and she says she needs six weeks before she’ll be ready to go so maybe too soon, but we’ll see.”

Having his children accompany him on tour changes his routine, allowing him to partake in activities he usually avoids. Hunt explained, “I go to bed earlier, I get up earlier, [and it] gives me a lot more to do during the day.” He enjoys taking them to museums and parks in cities he visits, saying it has enhanced his touring experience.

Looking ahead, Hunt aims to spend more quality time with his family. “I want to be present with the kids and be the best version of myself,” he said. “I try to keep an eye on how much I’m getting into other things so that I make sure I’m not expended when I’m home with those kids.”

In November, Hunt announced the couple’s pregnancy on a podcast, stating, “It’s about to get real,” revealing Fowler is due in May. He noted that Lucy doesn’t fully understand she’s getting a sibling but is excited nonetheless, sharing a humorous exchange overheard at their home.

As he prepares to release new music, Hunt mentioned plans to reduce his touring schedule in the following years to prioritize family time. “I’m hopefully — in the next couple years — going to take a break from touring,” he said, acknowledging the precious moments he has with his young children.
