Country music stars Lee Greenwood and Chris Janson are among the performers headlining the Republican National Convention in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, this week.

Alongside lawmakers, governors, and officials, other guests include rapper Amber Rose, media personalities Tucker Carlson, and Savannah Chrisley.

Greenwood, renowned for his 1984 hit ‘God Bless the U.S.A.,’ and Janson, who made waves with ‘Buy Me a Boat,’ will light up the stage at the convention.

Greenwood has seven Hot Country Songs chart-toppers to his name, while Janson boasts two Country Airplay No. 1 hits, including ‘Done’ and ‘Good Vibes.’

The event follows a recent incident at a rally where a suspected attack against former President Donald J. Trump occurred in Butler, Pennsylvania.

During the rally, Trump’s right ear was grazed by a shooting that resulted in the death of one spectator and injuries to several others. The gunman, identified as 20-year-old Thomas Matthew Crooks from Bethel Park, was fatally shot by Secret Service agents.

Following the incident, Greenwood took to Instagram to share a photo of himself with Trump, urging for prayers and blessings for the former president.

Amid speculation, Trump is anticipated to make an appearance at the Republican National Convention this week, adding more anticipation to the event. Additionally, Trump has reportedly named Hillbilly Elegy author-turned-politician J.D. Vance as his choice for vice president, as per reports from CNN.
