Dallas Cowboys Wide Receiver Parris Campbell Signing Contract

FRISCO, Texas – The Dallas Cowboys have bolstered their wide receiver corps by signing veteran Parris Campbell to a one-year deal on Saturday, March 15, 2025. Campbell, 27, joins the Cowboys after a season with the Philadelphia Eagles, where he played in five games, recording six catches for 30 yards and one touchdown.

Campbell’s signing marks his fourth team in as many seasons and the third NFC East team he’s represented. Before joining the Eagles in 2024, he played the 2023 season with the New York Giants and spent the first four years of his career with the Indianapolis Colts, who drafted him in the second round of the 2019 NFL Draft.

Throughout his career, Campbell has racked up 123 receptions for 1,117 yards and six touchdowns in 49 games. His standout season came in 2022 when he was the second leading receiver for the Colts, amassing 63 catches for 623 yards and three touchdowns.

Despite his dip in production during his time with the Eagles, Campbell is known for his speed, clocking a 4.31 in the 40-yard dash at the NFL Scouting Combine before being drafted. His collegiate career at Ohio State was marked by a national championship win, culminating in 90 receptions for 1,063 yards and 12 touchdowns during his senior year.

Now heading into his seventh season in the NFL, Campbell becomes the most experienced wide receiver on the Cowboys’ roster, surpassing CeeDee Lamb by one year. This veteran presence may prove valuable for the Cowboys as they search for consistent offensive production in the upcoming season.

The Cowboys have been active during free agency, with Campbell joining running backs Javonte Williams and Miles Sanders, along with offensive lineman Robert Jones, as additions aimed at strengthening their roster ahead of the new season.
