NewsMobile conducted a thorough fact-check and found that the proposal image had been manipulated. Issues such as misplaced fingers and a poorly rendered ring led experts to conclude that the image was, in fact, created by AI.

“Upon analyzing the image, we noted inconsistencies that are characteristic of AI-generated content,” a representative from NewsMobile explained. “The quality of the hands and the abrupt cut of the ring were particularly telling signs.” Additionally, the person depicted as Georgina Rodriguez in the image appeared notably different from her actual appearance.

To further substantiate their findings, NewsMobile employed Hive Moderation, an AI detection tool, which affirmed that the image was indeed fabricated. The organization stressed the importance of verifying information before sharing it on social media platforms.
