Daisy Ridley Joins Minnesota Vikings for Skol Chant and Promotes New Film ‘Magpie’
Star Wars actress Daisy Ridley recently made a memorable appearance at a Minnesota Vikings game, where she enthusiastically participated in the team’s iconic ‘skol chant’. Ridley, known for her role as Rey in the Star Wars franchise, was in Minnesota to promote her new film, ‘Magpie‘, which premiered at the Twin Cities Film Festival on Monday in St. Louis Park.
Ridley and her husband, Tom Bateman, who wrote and stars in ‘Magpie’, watched the Vikings’ narrow 31-29 loss to the Detroit Lions from a turf suite. During the game, they even made a cameo appearance on the jumbotron. The following day, the Vikings shared a video on social media showing Ridley, dressed in a Justin Jefferson jersey, performing the skol chant alongside the team’s mascot, Victor.
