Dakota Johnson Excited for Stunt Training in Marvel’s Madame Web
Actress Dakota Johnson expressed her enthusiasm for her stunt training in the upcoming Marvel film, Madame Web. The star appeared on The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon to discuss her role as Cassandra Webb, also known as Madame Web, a clairvoyant character from the Marvel Comics universe.
Johnson mentioned that the movie is set in a standalone universe separate from the Marvel Cinematic Universe and takes place in 2003, predating the introduction of Spider-Man. She highlighted her excitement about portraying a superheroine with clairvoyant abilities.
Madame Web provides a fresh female perspective on the superhero world, according to Johnson. The film stars Johnson alongside Sydney Sweeney, Celeste O’Connor, and Isabela Merced.
The actress even showcased a clip of her stunt training on the show, expressing her love for it. Although she learned some daring driving maneuvers for her character, she was disappointed that not all of them made it into the final film.
Madame Web, directed by S.J. Clarkson, is produced by Sony Pictures and is set to hit theaters on February 14, 2024, offering an alternative Valentine’s Day experience for moviegoers.
