Danielle Savre Reveals Shocking Twist in NBC’s ‘Found’ Season 2

LOS ANGELES, CA — Danielle Savre, known for her role in NBC‘s ‘Found,’ recently opened up about the surprising twist regarding her character, Heather, in the show’s upcoming episodes. Heather, initially presented as a lawyer and love interest for Trent, is, in fact, revealed to be the half-sister of Sir, played by Mark-Paul Gosselaar.
In an interview with TV Insider, Savre discussed her character’s duality of being both a love interest and a legal representative of Sir, who is currently imprisoned amid a family drama involving murders and kidnapping. The twist, long rumored among fans and the show’s crew, was confirmed during Season 2, Episode 18, titled ‘Missing While Heather.’
“At first, I was completely in the dark about the character’s true identity,” Savre confessed. “Mark-Paul knocked on my trailer and simply said, ‘Hi, sister.’ I had to respect that the creator, Nkechi Okoro Carroll, wanted to keep this under wraps for a while.”
As the story unfolds, viewers will see the complex dynamic between Heather and Sir. “You’re going to witness a power struggle, where Lena is trying to assert her control outside the prison while Sir is trapped,” she said. “Their shared trauma from childhood creates an interesting emotional connection. It’s a very messed-up family situation that keeps the audience guessing.”
According to Savre, while Lena’s ambition drives her, it is intertwined with the trauma both siblings share. “This isn’t just about ambition; it’s about familial love and loyalty. Lena believes Sir is completely innocent and is desperate to protect him from the villain, Gabi, whom she believes has ruined their family,” she explained.
However, the relationship between Lena and Trent complicates matters. Savre hinted that Lena’s feelings for Trent might stem from a deeper emotional bond than just a ploy. “She may be mistakenly trying to find love and connection where she can,” she suggested.
The buildup to this revelation has led to intense speculation about Lena’s actions and motivations. “I think she’s willing to go to extremes to protect her family and ensure her brother’s safety,” Savre said, teasing the dramatic confrontations yet to come as characters grapple with conflicting loyalties.
With the show returning for its latest episodes, including a major confrontation between Lena and Gabi, viewers can expect a rollercoaster of emotions. “It’s fascinating to see how Gabi’s compassion will play into her interactions with Heather,” Savre mentioned, hinting at the intensity of upcoming episodes.
‘Found’ continues to air Thursdays at 10 p.m. ET on NBC, with fans eagerly anticipating how these revelations will impact the overarching narrative.
