Daredevil Returns in ‘Born Again’ Trailer Ahead of March Disney+ Debut
LOS ANGELES, Calif. — Disney has unveiled the trailer for “Daredevil: Born Again,” the highly anticipated Marvel series set to premiere on Disney+ on March 4, 2025. The show marks the official return of Charlie Cox as Matt Murdock, aka Daredevil, alongside a host of familiar faces from the original Netflix series.
The trailer teases a gritty, street-level story centered on Murdock’s dual life as a blind lawyer and a vigilante. Vincent D'Onofrio reprises his role as Wilson Fisk, aka Kingpin, while Jon Bernthal returns as Frank Castle, aka Punisher. The series also brings back Deborah Ann Woll as Karen Page, Elden Henson as Foggy Nelson, and other key characters from the Netflix era.
“Daredevil: Born Again” picks up after Murdock’s appearances in “She-Hulk: Attorney at Law,” “Echo,” and “Spider-Man: No Way Home.” The logline describes the series as a collision course between Murdock and Fisk, as their past identities resurface in New York City. The show promises to delve deeper into the moral complexities of its characters while delivering the action-packed storytelling fans expect.
Showrunner Dario Scardapane leads the creative team, with executive producers including Marvel Studios’ Kevin Feige, Louis D'Esposito, and Brad Winderbaum. The series is directed by Michael Cuesta, Jeffrey Nachmanoff, David Boyd, and the duo Justin Benson and Aaron Moorhead.
Fans have eagerly awaited the return of Daredevil since the Netflix series concluded in 2018 after three seasons. The new series aims to honor the legacy of the original while integrating the character more fully into the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
