Dave Portnoy Reveals Details About Relationship with Camryn D’Aloia

Nantucket, MA — Dave Portnoy opened up about his relationship with Camryn D’Aloia during a podcast appearance this week, nearly a year after the couple began dating.

Portnoy, 48, shared his experience while reflecting on a recent incident where he and his mother had to be rescued by the U.S. Coast Guard due to a power failure on their boat. He recalled, “I thought about jumping off [the boat] at one point,” when discussing the frightening situation.

During the conversation, he mentioned D’Aloia, explaining that she played a crucial role in getting help. “No, originally, it was myself and Cam, the girl I’m dating. I was like, ‘You have to get off and tell somebody, I have no communication.’ So she dove off and went home and called the harbor master,” Portnoy said.

This incident took place in July 2024, three months after he and D’Aloia were spotted together on a televised Celtics playoff game. Their appearance ignited media attention, which Portnoy addressed days later on his podcast, saying, “Very unfortunate set of circumstances, I’ll say that. Because … I’m sensitive still to the fact I’m six months, five-and-a-half months out of a relationship, so being seen on a date or with a girl, it was not what I was trying to do.”

Portnoy was previously linked to influencer Silvana Mojica, and together they frequently attended sporting events, including Celtics games. After the buzz from his on-air appearance with D’Aloia, Portnoy revealed on the podcast that he quickly bought tickets to avoid the spotlight. “So, we get the f–k out of there. I bought two tickets in real time in different seats and moved just three rows back and out of the way. We did not want to be on camera,” he explained.

Prior to his relationships with D’Aloia and Mojica, Portnoy amicably split from his wife, Renee, in 2017 after marrying in 2009.
