A Day To Remember Unveils New Album, Releases Singles Today

ORLANDO, Fla. — A Day To Remember has surprised fans with the physical release of their highly anticipated album, A Day To Remember’s Big Ole Album Vol. 1, available now on vinyl and CD. The record marks the band’s eighth full-length and follows their 2021 release, You’re Welcome. The album will be available for streaming on March 21, 2025.
Frontman Jeremy McKinnon shared his thoughts on the new album, stating, “There’s so many different emotions, so many different subjects that have fed into this. All I can say is that this is a snapshot of where I’m at in life, where we are as a band, and the things we’ve been going through together.” The album features twelve tracks, including the newly released singles “Make It Make Sense” and “LeBron,” which dropped today at 8 PM GMT / 3 PM EST.
“Make It Make Sense” opens with an explosive energy, showcasing the band’s signature hardcore sound with lines that resonate with their long-time fans: “Glass half full, but it’s never enough. Make it make sense.” In contrast, “LeBron” delivers a pop-punk vibe, tackling themes of perseverance and criticism with lyricism aimed at the haters. The song lyrics reflect the ups and downs of fame, mirroring the career of NBA superstar LeBron James.
The record features collaborations with well-known producers such as Drew Fulk a.k.a. WZRD BLD and Zakk Cervini, among others. Key contributions came from Cody Quistad of Wage War and Colin Brittain of Linkin Park. The album’s production showcases a blend of heavy riffs and catchy melodies, intended to engage both new listeners and the band’s established fan base.
In addition to the singles, the complete tracklist for Big Ole Album Vol. 1 includes:
- Make It Make Sense
- Feedback
- Bad Blood
- All My Friends
- To The Death
- Flowers
- LeBron
- Die For Me
- Miracle
- Same Team
- Silence
- Closer Than You Think
The album artwork, reminiscent of the comedic aesthetics of the 1978 film National Lampoon’s Animal House, includes caricatures of the band members among various public figures and landmarks. McKinnon explained, “The idea was to pepper in all the people that touched this album in some way, shape, or form.”
A Day To Remember is scheduled to kick off a series of international tour dates this year, including headline performances at renowned festivals such as Slam Dunk Festival in the UK. Fans can look forward to live performances in locations ranging from Auckland, New Zealand, to multiple cities across Australia, with shows slated for May and June 2025.
