Ddg Rapper Doxing Controversy Tiktok

LOS ANGELES, Calif. — TikTok is buzzing after a retail worker alleged that rapper DDG attempted to ruin her life over a jacket return. The incident reportedly unfolded during his visit to a store where he was originally cordial while selecting a $6,000 Bottega jacket for a music video.

According to the young woman, things escalated dramatically when DDG returned to the store with Disney actress Halle Bailey. She claimed they confronted her about their request to return the jacket, which she said had a strong odor of cologne and smoke. When she denied the return, she attempted to back her decision by showing a video of DDG wearing the jacket in his music video.

“It sucks, but they went to a different location and returned it. I expected it to be returned, just not by me,” she recounted in her TikTok story. “DDG took to his social media to post the receipt of this jacket showing my first name, where I worked, and other personal information. He said I was racist and that I called him the n-word. I did not do this.”

Following her story, TikTok users began speculating that the rapper involved was DDG and sought confirmation. The young woman later shared screenshots that purportedly showed DDG sharing her personal details on his social media account.

On a livestream, DDG addressed the allegations, initially denying the accusations of doxing. However, he later appeared to backtrack, claiming he didn’t remember the events from three years ago. In response to questions about the incident, he suggested the retail worker take legal action against him, asserting it would be an easy win for him.

Public reaction has been divided. Some followers have defended DDG’s right to return the jacket, while others support the retail worker’s choice to deny the return based on the condition of the item. Social media discussions have spilled over to platforms like Instagram and TikTok, where users shared their opinions on the matter.

“Why would you buy a $6,000 jacket you barely like and planned on returning?” asked an Instagram user. Another added, “If I buy something, I don’t care if I wore it or not, I’ll return it if I feel like it.”

Conversely, some users criticized Halle Bailey’s involvement, with comments suggesting she acted entitled or disrespectful during the incident. One TikTok user remarked, “Y’all are doing too much on Halle and not enough on DDG when he’s the problem. She’s not even with him anymore.”

As the controversy continues, viewers are left to ponder the implications of the incident and the responsibility of public figures when interacting with everyday workers.
