Deftones Reunite With Hayley Williams for Live Performance in Nashville

NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Deftones captivated fans during their headlining set at Bridgestone Arena on March 26, 2025, with a surprise guest appearance by Hayley Williams, the lead vocalist of Paramore. Williams joined the band onstage for a live rendition of “Minerva,” a track from Deftones’ self-titled album released in 2003.
This performance marks a nostalgic moment as it echoes Williams’ previous collaboration with Deftones at the 2010 Rock-A-Field Festival in Luxembourg, where she sang the band’s song “Passenger,” originally featuring Maynard James Keenan of Tool. The unexpected reunion in Nashville delighted an enthusiastic audience, eager to connect with two of rock’s prominent voices.
Williams, who appeared to enjoy the concert as a fan, shared a brief clip of Deftones on her Instagram story, showcasing her affection for the band. Seated further back in the venue, her presence as a dedicated fan added a touch of warmth to the evening.
As Deftones continues its tour in support of their highly anticipated tenth studio album, the band is set to perform nationwide, with upcoming shows scheduled in cities including Indianapolis, Columbus, and Chicago. Fans can expect a mix of classic tracks and new material as the tour progresses into early April.
“It’s always a special experience for us to share the stage with artists we admire,” said Deftones frontman Chino Moreno. “Tonight felt magical, having Hayley with us brought back so many memories.”
The tour will see Deftones perform multiple dates this summer, including appearances at major festivals like Primavera Sound in Porto and Glastonbury Festival in the UK. Following the conclusion of their spring run, the band is poised to engage with a diverse audience across North America and Europe.
