Delta Force Black Hawk Down Video Game Trailer Release

LOS ANGELES, CA – TiMi Studio’s Team Jade has confirmed the release date for the highly anticipated campaign mode of Delta Force: Black Hawk Down. Players will be able to engage in the first-person shooter’s campaign on PC beginning February 21 at 02:00 UTC+0.

The campaign mode is modeled after the iconic Black Hawk Down film and the 2003 video game, thrusting players into the intense conflicts seen in Mogadishu during the Somali Civil War. The announcement comes after the Open Beta for the Delta Force game was released in December 2024. However, initial Reception on Steam has been lukewarm at best, with recent user reviews averaging 63%.

The campaign, utilizing Unreal Engine 5, is designed to test players’ combat skills and ability to work cohesively in a squad. Not immediately revealed was the campaign’s price, but Team Jade confirmed it will be a paid DLC. In a recent announcement, the development team stated more information regarding pricing and features would be available shortly.

Team Jade, a subsidiary of Tencent, shared a teaser trailer highlighting gameplay that features tactical operations through the war-torn streets of Mogadishu. The campaign allows players to experience one of the military’s most perilous missions first-hand, where a straightforward task escalates into a chaotic extraction scenario.

The original Delta Force: Black Hawk Down was released in 2003 by NovaLogic, presenting a tactical experience that has influenced many shooters since. Team Jade’s version seeks to revive this legacy, offering reminders of the intense firefights depicted in the original game and its cinematic counterpart.

Although the campaign mode was initially expected to launch in January, it was subsequently pushed to February 21, 2025. Team Jade clarified that the delay was minimal, reassuring fans that additional details would be disclosed soon.

In contrast to the single-player campaign, Delta Force has maintained a free-to-play multiplayer focus since launching its core game in December 2024. The multiplayer mode has been touted for its engaging elements and large player count, drawing comparisons to the Battlefield series.

As the release date approaches, players eager to explore the new Black Hawk Down campaign can prepare to dive into its immersive gameplay while following updates from Team Jade regarding costs and additional content.
