LOS ANGELES, CA — Delta Force is set to make a grand entrance onto mobile devices after a successful launch on PC last year, reigniting interest in the tactical shooter franchise. Following a surge of anticipation, the mobile version will launch on April 21, attracting over 20 million pre-registrations across Android and iOS platforms.

Team Jade‘s Leo Yao, Head of Studio, and Shadow Guo, Game Director, discussed the development journey of Delta Force Mobile, its cutting-edge features, and its unique play-to-win philosophy. The game is designed to deliver a modern tactical action experience while evoking nostalgia for longtime fans of the series.

“Our goal was to build a truly uncompromised AAA shooter experience for mobile players which feels just as thrilling and immersive as its PC counterpart,” Guo said. Delta Force features realistic battlegrounds, a class-based Operator system, and a robust arsenal of weapons, all set within multiple gameplay modes. The game will include both solo-play and cooperative options, boasting the world’s first 24v24 battlefield that incorporates vehicles as well as an extraction-based PvPvE mode.

The design ethos emphasizes parity of experience across platforms. Cross-progression with PC allows players to seamlessly switch between devices, retaining their progress and content. “We wanted to ensure the game is both accessible and fun for everyone,” Yao added, noting that synced content will include seven maps for Warfare, four for Operations, ten Operators, twelve vehicles, and 55 weapon sets.

Delta Force Mobile was engineered to cater to both mobile-first audiences and existing PC players. “Players can jump into a quick match on their phones during a commute or settle in for a longer session with friends on PC,” Yao explained, highlighting the game’s extensive content designed for mobile play.

The developers have prioritized device optimization, ensuring that Delta Force mobile runs efficiently on various devices, including iPhone 7, released nearly a decade ago. “We wanted to make sure players wouldn’t have to worry about whether their phones could handle gameplay, so we made sure system requirements are as accessible as possible,” Yao remarked.

Delta Force Mobile boasts high-resolution visuals and advanced features such as global illumination, which enhances immersion. The game will also deliver lifelike operators, detailed weapon cosmetics, and expansive, intricately designed maps, complemented by smooth in-game effects.

Performance has been a key focus, aiming for 120 frames per second to meet the high expectations of shooter fans. Thanks to cutting-edge technologies like Vulkan and Metal, Delta Force Mobile achieves around 50% higher efficiency than many leading mobile shooters, establishing its position as a performance leader in the industry.

The game operates on a play-to-win model, enabling both new and returning players to earn exclusive in-game rewards. On launch, players can anticipate $500 worth of rewards across both PC and mobile platforms, including 148 weapon appearances and 270 additional items. “We are truly committed to a no-pay-to-win system,” Yao said. “Delta Force will always be a community-first game.”

Delta Force Mobile is now available for download on both Android and iOS, inviting players to experience its thrilling gameplay and community-focused rewards.
