Denise Richards Reality Show Family

LOS ANGELES, Calif. – Denise Richards, the former star of ‘The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills,’ is making a comeback to Bravo with a new reality show titled ‘Denise Richards and Her Wild Things.’ This return comes as she faces financial challenges following a court decision to halt child support payments from her ex-husband, Charlie Sheen.

Richards, who left ‘RHOBH’ after a tumultuous season in 2020, expressed reluctance to be filmed previously, especially under the scrutiny of her former castmates. However, a source revealed to The U.S. Sun that this time she is eager to return to the spotlight, primarily due to financial pressures.

With their daughters, Sami, 20, and Lola, 19, now adults, a judge ruled that Sheen is no longer obligated to pay child support, leaving Richards needing to supplement her income. The insider disclosed, “The only reason she’s doing the reality show is the same reason she’s doing her OnlyFans – she needs the money.”

Sheen had attempted to stop child support payments years ago, claiming financial difficulties. Despite the loss of this support, Richards continues to pursue acting opportunities, albeit with less success than in the past.

In her new show, Richards aims to showcase her life as a mother and wife, along with her husband, Aaron Phypers. Notably, Sheen is expected to make a guest appearance, though the relationship remains strained. The source shared, “Charlie is pitting the girls against their mother, which is horrible.”

Richards is looking forward to crafting her narrative this time around, stating she now has the autonomy to present her story. “She gets to control her own narrative and be the author of her own story,” the insider explained. Previously confined by the cast dynamics and drama on ‘RHOBH,’ Richards is ready to present a more authentic version of herself.

The show’s synopsis promises an honest look at the “complexities of blended life” for Richards, Phypers, and their daughters. The show premiered on Bravo on March 4, with new episodes available for streaming on Peacock.
