Denise Richards Shares Unexpected Support from Charlie Sheen for New Show

BEVERLY HILLS, Calif. — Denise Richards revealed that her ex-husband Charlie Sheen has been surprisingly supportive of her new Bravo series, “Denise Richards & Her Wild Things,” which premieres on March 4. In a recent interview, Richards shared details about Sheen’s positive reaction to the show’s trailer.
Richards, who was married to Sheen from 2002 to 2006, stated that she received a “wonderful sweet positive text” from him. “I was actually really surprised. It meant a lot to me,” she said.
The former couple shares two daughters, Sami, 20, and Lola, 19, who will co-star in the series alongside their mother and Richards’ 13-year-old daughter with husband Aaron Phypers, Eloise. Although Sheen, 59, will not appear in the series, Richards indicated that he remains involved in their daughters’ lives.
“Charlie is always invited to holiday dinners. There’s always an open door, and that goes for Brooke [Mueller] and the boys as well,” Richards said, referencing Mueller, Sheen’s ex-wife and the mother of his twin sons, Bob and Max. “I want everyone to get along and everyone to be peaceful,” Richards added.
Richards also reflected on a time when she temporarily cared for Bob and Max as their mother struggled with substance abuse. “I’m grateful we were able to help them during that time,” she noted.
Mueller, who appeared in a recent episode of a reality series, discussed her positive dynamic with Sheen, describing their frequent communication. “My kids live with me full-time, but Charlie and I are neighbors. And so we talk daily, sometimes, oftentimes, multiple times a day. He comes over a lot. We go over there,” she explained.
Sheen has faced various personal challenges over the years, including publicized issues with addiction and legal matters. However, he and Richards appear to have maintained a cordial relationship co-parenting their daughters, who are also featured in the upcoming series.
Overall, Richards expressed her hope that the reality show will offer viewers insight into her life as a mother while fostering harmonious family dynamics.
