Dermot Mulroney As Chief Dom Pascal In Chicago Fire Season 13

Actor Dermot Mulroney has joined the cast of NBC‘s popular drama series ‘Chicago Fire‘ as the new chief of Firehouse 51, introducing a significant change to the show’s dynamic. Mulroney plays Chief Dom Pascal, a character who brings a fresh and potentially disruptive leadership style to the fire department.

Chief Pascal replaces Chief Wallace Boden, played by Eamonn Walker, who left at the end of season 12 to take on a new role as deputy commissioner. Pascal’s arrival is marked by his immediate involvement in action-packed scenes, including shielding a woman outside a burning building and engaging in tense conversations with other characters, such as Herrmann (David Eigenberg).

Mulroney’s character is an outsider to the Chicago Fire Department, having come from the Miami Fire Department. His presence is expected to “shake everything up,” according to showrunner Andrea Newman. This new leadership is already evident in the season 13 premiere, where Pascal implements changes such as post-call discussions with his lieutenants.

In addition to his professional challenges, the premiere also hints at personal drama for Chief Pascal, showing him returning home to find the locks changed and encountering his estranged wife, Monica Pascal.

Mulroney’s addition to the cast is part of the broader return of the One Chicago franchise, which includes new cast members and storylines across ‘Chicago Fire,’ ‘Chicago Med,’ and ‘Chicago P.D.’ The new season promises to bring exciting changes and developments to the beloved series).
