Dexter Resurrection Cast Michael C Hall

David Zayas, James Remar, and Jack Alcott are set to join Michael C. Hall in the upcoming Paramount+ series Dexter: Resurrection, the latest installment in the Dexter franchise. The new series, which begins production this month, will premiere in summer 2025 and serve as a follow-up to the 2021 revival Dexter: New Blood.

Zayas will reprise his role as Detective Angel Batista, while Remar returns as Dexter’s father, Harry Morgan. Alcott will continue to play Dexter’s son, Harrison Morgan, a role he originated in Dexter: New Blood. The series will explore Dexter’s resurrection after his apparent death in the 2021 revival, with showrunner Clyde Phillips revealing that the freezing temperatures during Dexter’s shooting allowed doctors to save him.

Phillips, who also serves as showrunner for the prequel series Dexter: Original Sin, explained that Resurrection will feel like a continuation of New Blood. The series will be executive produced by Phillips, Hall, Scott Reynolds, Tony Hernandez, and Lilly Burns, with Marcos Siega as producing director.

Zayas, known for his roles in Dexter and The Bear, is repped by ATA Management and Buchwald. Alcott, who starred in Dexter: New Blood and The Good Lord Bird, is represented by Gersh Agency and Authentic Talent. Remar, recognized for his work in Dexter, Oppenheimer, and Welcome to Derry, is repped by Gersh Agency and Lighthouse Entertainment.
