Doctor Snoddie Captures Startling Pigeon Encounter at Lord’s Cricket Ground
Last summer saw an unexpected encounter at the hallowed grounds of Lord’s Cricket Ground, when Doctor Alexander Snoddie crossed paths with famed contributor Ged Ladd.
During the cricket match on Day 3, the scene was set with a peculiar sight: two pigeons leisurely feasting on the seeds scattered by none other than Karl McDermott, the esteemed Head Groundsman at Lord’s. As the substitute player Dan Lawrence stood watch over the covers, the pigeons seemed unperturbed, showcasing a blatant disregard for the cricketing action unfolding around them.
Doctor Snoddie, in a stroke of whimsy, attempted to capture this amusing scene through a photograph, albeit with tech challenges that left the image too blurry for recognition.
Undeterred, Ged Ladd took matters into his own hands and utilized advanced technology to enhance the image. Through deep learning image generating tool DALL-E, the pigeons became more prominent, larger, and appeared to be gazing away from the human spectators on the field.
Doctor Snoddie, astonished by the transformed image, hailed it as a breakthrough moment and called for it to be shared with the world.
