Download Festival Announces Additional Artists For 2024 Lineup

The legendary Download Festival has just revealed a wave of 22 additional artists set to perform at this year’s rock and metal extravaganza. With a diverse lineup that caters to a wide range of music fans, the festival promises something for everyone.

Among the newly announced acts are renowned guitarist Tom Morello, British rock band Enter Shikari, southern rock legends Black Stone Cherry, rebellious punk group Frank Carter & The Rattlesnakes, and the energetic rock outfit The Struts. Other notable additions include metalcore giants Of Mice & Men, pop-rock favorites Busted, and the American punk-pop band Wheatus.

Enter Shikari, who will be gracing the Apex Stage, has established themselves as one of the most dynamic live acts in the scene. Known for their adrenaline-fueled performances and socially conscious lyrics, the band soared to new heights with their seventh album, “A Kiss For The Whole World,” which earned them their first UK Number One.

Tom Morello, who has achieved iconic status as a guitarist and founding member of bands like Rage Against the Machine and Audioslave, is set to make his solo performance debut at Download Festival. Morello has consistently pushed the boundaries of rock and metal throughout his career.

German electro-metalcore group Electric Callboy, known for their genre-defying music and explosive live shows, will bring their unique sound to the Opus Stage. Last year, they impressed a massive crowd on the Avalanche Stage, securing their place at this year’s festival.

British pop-rock trio Busted, known for their chart-topping hits and infectious energy, will be taking the stage at the Avalanche Stage. The band has experienced a phenomenal comeback in recent years and will undoubtedly bring a nostalgic and high-octane performance to Download Festival. Also gracing the same stage will be the American rock band Wheatus, famous for their punk-pop anthem “Teenage Dirtbag.”

The lineup doesn’t stop there, as the festival organizers have also added the mighty Black Stone Cherry, local Derby rockers The Struts, fiery punk rock rebels Frank Carter & The Rattlesnakes, metalcore masters Of Mice & Men, and a mix of other impressive acts.

Download Festival 2024 is scheduled to take place from June 14-16 at Donington Park in Leicestershire, often referred to as the spiritual home of rock. The festival has already confirmed headliners such as Queens Of The Stone Age, Fall Out Boy, and Avenged Sevenfold.

In addition to the musical lineup, the festival has partnered with canned water company Liquid Death. Excitement for the festival is at an all-time high, and fans are eagerly anticipating the performances of all the extraordinary artists set to grace the stages of Download Festival.
