Drake & Josh Star Josh Peck Shares Insights into Fatherhood with His Two Sons

Former Nickelodeon star Josh Peck, known for his role in the hit show ‘Drake & Josh‘, has opened up about his journey into fatherhood with his two sons alongside wife Paige O’Brien.

The couple welcomed their first child, Max Milo Peck, in December 2018. Their second son, Shai Miller Peck, joined the family in October 2022.

In a recent interview with PEOPLE, Josh shared how becoming a father shifted his focus from career ambitions to nurturing his children.

Josh expressed that the love and joy of putting his children first have been transformative, making him understand the cliché sayings about parenthood.

From late-night feedings to introducing Max to their Jewish faith and celebrating holidays like Hanukkah and Purim, Josh has been actively involved in shaping his son’s upbringing.

Max, now 5, is showing growing interests in reading and puzzles, reflecting his young mind always at work.

Josh also shared that while Max has seen some of his work, the young boy still sees it as ‘well-shot home movies’ rather than recognizing his father’s superstar status.

In June 2022, Josh and Paige announced the impending arrival of their second child, with Shai Miller Peck born in October 2022.

Shai, described by Josh as having a ‘vendetta against sleep’, has made nighttime feedings a shared responsibility for the parents, leading to challenging, but bonding moments.

Despite initial worries about how Max would adjust to having a sibling, Josh shared that his oldest son adores his younger brother, showcasing a heartwarming sibling connection.

Raising two young children has reignited the joy of holidays for Josh, who now finds delight in celebrating traditions like Christmas Eve and Halloween with his growing family.
