Duolingo Launches Unique Five-Year World Cruise Experience

PITTSBURGH, Pa. — Duolingo, the world’s leading language-learning platform, has announced its most ambitious project to date: the Duolingo World Cruise, a five-year voyage designed to immerse travelers in language and culture. In collaboration with Carnival Cruise Line, the cruise aims to enhance language education through real-world conversation.

This exclusive expedition will set sail in April 2025, offering a unique opportunity for travelers to learn and practice languages—from Spanish to Japanese, German, and Greek—while navigating various ports around the globe. Participants will engage in immersive activities like ordering food, making small talk, and even debating philosophy in their destination’s local language.

The specially designed ship, christened Carnival Gufo, will feature a range of activities and experiences tailored for adventure-seekers and language enthusiasts. Onboard offerings will include world-class entertainment, themed dining nights, and an array of attractions to ensure a fun and engaging atmosphere.

Eager travelers can secure their spot on this once-in-a-lifetime voyage by visiting Duolingo’s website. For those less ready to commit for five years, Duolingo is also offering a free month of Super Duolingo and special promotions for shorter Carnival cruises.
