The long-running BBC soap, EastEnders, has released a sneak peek into the dramatic twists awaiting fans in its upcoming episode, scheduled to air on Thursday night. The episode promises intense drama involving key characters Denise, Jack, Penny, Stacey, Harry, and Tommy.

In anticipation of the forthcoming episode, the BBC teased: “Looking for revenge, Penny tries to ruin Jack’s rekindled relationship with Denise by bringing up her dad’s affair with Stacey – only for Denise to walk into The Vic and see her estranged husband hugging the woman he cheated on her with.”

The drama escalates as Jack makes a critical error, punching Harry, an incident cunningly recorded by Tommy. The soap poses the question: “What will this moment of madness cost Jack?”

Recent episodes have seen separated couple Jack and Denise gravitating towards each other once more, reigniting their romantic relationship. However, complications arise as Penny seeks retribution against Jack for choosing Chelsea over her in a family dispute.

Despite Penny’s reassurances to Lauren about refraining from any drastic actions, she embarks on a mission to disrupt her father’s relationship with Denise by reminding her of Jack’s past infidelity with Stacey.

Denise meets with Jack at their home, insisting they openly discuss his affair if they are to mend their relationship. However, the conversation soon devolves into bitterness over past secrets, leading Denise to ultimately file for divorce, overwhelmed by emotion as Jack departs.

This tension culminates in a confrontation between Jack and Harry, ending in a violent exchange, which Tommy captures on footage. With this leverage, Harry and Penny may have plans to exert pressure on Jack.

Fans of the show can catch more of the unfolding drama on RTÉ One and BBC One from Monday to Thursday at 7:30 pm, with episodes available for streaming on BBC iPlayer, where they premiere earlier at 6 am before the TV broadcast.
