Eclipse Glow Studio Unveils Tides of Annihilation at State of Play 2025

CHENGDU, China — Eclipse Glow Studio announced its new action-adventure game, Tides of Annihilation, during Sony’s State of Play event on February 12, 2025. Set in a mystical version of London ravaged by an otherworldly invasion, the game invites players to step into the role of Gwendolyn, humanity’s last survivor, who wields the power to summon spectral knights.

The game, designed for PlayStation 5, PC, and Xbox Series X and S, aims to deliver a dynamic single-player experience centered around combat and narrative. Players will engage in fast-paced battles, employing a unique combat system that emphasizes teamwork with into 10 different spectral knights, each with distinct abilities and combat roles.

“It’s a humbling accomplishment to debut Tides of Annihilation at State of Play,” said Kun Fu, lead game producer at Eclipse Glow Studio. “We’ve created a world that reimagines Arthurian legend, testing the mettle of true gamers while interweaving themes of courage and loyalty.”

Players will navigate two interconnected realms within London, uncovering mysteries surrounding the Grail Shards as they explore iconic landmarks transformed by mystical forces. The game promises memorable boss battles, including clashes with gigantic knights represented throughout the landscape.

Tides of Annihilation features a captivating setting where remnants of modernity coexist with echoes of a medieval past. The developers have depicted the city as a giant tree with twisted branches representing various districts, allowing players to traverse through both historic and fictional elements of the city. Accessible mode enhancements for PS5 Pro users will offer advanced graphics and smoother gameplay.

The announcement comes as Eclipse Glow Studio, newly established in Chengdu, China, plans to make its mark in the gaming industry with a team of over 100 developers.
