Ellen Degeneres Gray Pixie Cut Montecito 2025

MONTECITO, Calif. — Ellen DeGeneres, 66, showcased a striking new look this week, debuting a gray pixie cut during a casual outing in Montecito on Tuesday. The former talk show host, known for her signature blond, layered hairstyle, paired her fresh cut with a gray sweater, blue jeans, and white sneakers.

DeGeneres and her wife, Portia de Rossi, have been making headlines recently after putting their Montecito estate on the market late last year. The decision followed the 2024 presidential election, which saw President-elect Joe Biden defeat Vice President Kamala Harris. The couple has since relocated, with DeGeneres confirming their move in a Dec. 1, 2024, Instagram post. “P.S. for those of you concerned, our UK farmhouse did NOT flood,” she wrote, addressing rumors about their property in the Cotswolds region.

DeGeneres has maintained a low profile since her long-running talk show, “The Ellen DeGeneres Show,” ended in May 2022 after 19 seasons. Her 2024 Netflix special, “Ellen DeGeneres: Farewell,” hinted at her stepping back from the spotlight. During the special, she joked about being “canceled” for being “mean” and told the audience, “This is the last time you’re going to see me. After my Netflix special, I’m done.”

Despite her reduced public appearances, DeGeneres continues to draw attention with her bold style choices and candid humor. Her new hairstyle marks another chapter in her evolving post-talk show life.
