Elon Musk Welcomes 14th Child with Shivon Zilis

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA — Tech entrepreneur Elon Musk has welcomed his 14th child, Seldon Lycurgus, with Shivon Zilis, a top executive at Neuralink. Zilis announced the news on X (formerly Twitter) on February 28, 2025, just as their daughter Arcadia celebrated her first birthday.

In her post, Zilis shared, “Discussed with Elon and, in light of beautiful Arcadia’s birthday, we felt it was better to also just share directly about our wonderful and incredible son Seldon Lycurgus. Built like a juggernaut, with a solid heart of gold. Love him so much ❤️.” Musk, 53, responded simply with a heart emoji.

Zilis revealed the birth of Seldon, though she did not provide specific details on when he was born. The couple has two other children together, twins Strider and Azure, who were born in November 2021. Musk also has three children with musician Grimes: son X Æ A-Xii, daughter Exa Dark Sideræl, and son Techno Mechanicus.

A source close to Musk mentioned that he “really loves Shivon,” amidst ongoing developments regarding his other children. In the public eye, Zilis and Musk’s relationship has been scrutinized since they became parents to twins just weeks before Grimes gave birth to Exa.

On February 28, 2024, Zilis and Musk welcomed their daughter Arcadia. Zilis celebrated her daughter’s first birthday on the same day she announced the birth of Seldon, reflecting on how their family has grown. “Happy 1st birthday, darling Arcadia. Mommy loves you with all her heart 💞,” Zilis wrote on X.

Months earlier, in February 2025, author Ashley St. Clair revealed that she also had a child with Musk, a son named R.S.C. St. Clair disclosed the news of her son’s birth on February 14, citing her desire to protect the child’s privacy. She stated, “I have not previously disclosed this to protect our child’s privacy and safety.” St. Clair’s representative later confirmed that the two are working on an agreement regarding parenting.

The media frenzy surrounding Musk’s children continues, with his family tree growing rapidly. Following the birth of Seldon, Musk’s children now include Nevada Alexander, who passed away early in life, twins Griffin and Vivian (20), triplets Kai, Saxon, and Damian (19), and now a total of 14 children, each born in various relationships.

Musk first became a father in 2002, with ex-wife Justine Wilson. Over the years, he has expressed a desire for larger families as part of his advocacy for increased birth rates globally. This latest announcement comes as he becomes a father once again, further expanding his already extensive family.
