Elton John Album Release Who Believes In Angels

LOS ANGELES, CA — Elton John takes the top spot on the U.S. album charts this week with his new album, Who Believes in Angels? The collaborative project with Brandi Carlile debuted at number one on both the Top Rock & Alternative Albums and Top Rock Albums charts.

This latest achievement marks John’s second number one on both rock charts, previously reaching the summit with his compilation album, Diamonds. What makes this milestone particularly significant is that Who Believes in Angels? is a studio album filled entirely with new material and released during a prolific career spanning more than 50 years.

In addition to topping rock charts, the album also climbed high on other Billboard rankings. It debuted at number two on the Top Album Sales chart and entered at number nine on the Billboard 200, which tracks overall album consumption in the U.S.

Despite previous releases landing within the top 10, this is John’s first studio album to reach the top positions on both rock charts. Notably, he has had six top 10 placements on each list over the years, often falling short by just one or two spots.

Speaking to the media, John expressed excitement about connecting with fans through new music. “There’s nothing better than sharing fresh ideas and experiences with my listeners,” he stated. “This album reflects my journey, and having Brandi on board has been remarkable.”

As the music industry evolves, reaching number one with a new album is no small feat, especially compared to the built-in advantages of hits collections. Nevertheless, John’s continuous success emphasizes his enduring appeal as an artist.

With this latest release, both John and Carlile celebrate another significant milestone in their careers, showcasing their talents on a platform widely recognized for excellence in the music world.
