The King of Rock and Roll, Elvis Presley, remains a beloved figure, even almost 50 years after his passing. His music continues to captivate fans worldwide, and his name frequently appears on music charts.

One of the notable achievements this week is that Elvis’s compilation album, Elv1s: 30 Number 1 Hits, has hit a remarkable milestone of 250 weeks on the U.K. albums chart.

This collection stands as Presley’s longest-running title in the U.K., showcasing his enduring appeal. It has climbed from No. 61 to No. 60 in the rankings, celebrating this 250-week mark.

Elv1s: 30 Number 1 Hits is one of Presley’s 13 No. 1 albums in the U.K. Initially, it debuted at the top spot and remained there for its first two weeks. Over time, it has spent a total of twelve weeks in the top 10 and many more weeks within the top 100 of the list.

Interestingly, only one other Elvis release, the 50 Greatest Hits compilation, has managed to stay on the U.K. albums chart for more than 100 weeks. That album, released two years before Elv1s: 30 Number 1 Hits in 2002, has now spent an impressive 150 weeks on the list.

The 50 Greatest Hits album also made headlines when it reached the No. 2 position on the charts in 2017, a remarkable return for a set of songs that reflect his legendary career.
