Emily Alabi Fbi Season 7 Casting

LOS ANGELES, Calif. — Emily Alabi has been cast in a recurring role for the seventh season of CBS‘s hit procedural drama FBI, sources close to production confirmed. Alabi will play a new agent expected to partner with Stuart Scola, portrayed by John Boyd, following the departure of Katherine Renee Kane’s character, Tiffany Wallace, earlier this season.

Alabi, known for her roles in S.W.A.T., Joe Pickett, and Magnum P.I., joins the series as a fresh face in the FBI’s New York field office. While her role is currently recurring, insiders suggest she could be promoted to a series regular in Season 8, pending the success of her character’s integration into the show.

This casting comes after a brief stint by Lisette Olivera, who was originally brought in as a series regular to replace Kane’s Tiffany Wallace. Olivera played Syd Ortiz, a Behavioral Analysis Unit agent, but exited the show after a handful of episodes. Sources indicate her departure was a creative decision, as the character was deemed to be “playing too young.”

Alabi’s addition marks the latest shake-up in the series’ dynamic, which has seen several changes in its ensemble cast. Her character is expected to bring a new dynamic to Scola’s storyline, as the show explores how he adapts to a new partner. “Scola can mesh well with everyone because he doesn’t like anyone, until he does,” Boyd told Deadline. “It’ll be interesting to build that trust again someday.”

Alabi’s career spans both acting and dance, with credits including Netflix‘s Selena: The Series and Jon Favreau‘s Chef. She is represented by Ro Diamond at SDB Partners and manager Michelle Zeitlin of More Zap Productions and Management.

FBI, produced by Wolf Entertainment and Universal Television, continues to be a ratings powerhouse for CBS. The series, now in its seventh season, follows agents of the FBI’s New York office as they tackle high-stakes cases involving terrorism, organized crime, and counterintelligence. Executive producers include Dick Wolf, Mike Weiss, Alex Chapple, Amanda Slater, and Peter Jankowski.
