Emily Blunt, John Krasinski Double Date with Matt Damon in NYC
NEW YORK CITY, N.Y. — Hollywood stars Emily Blunt and John Krasinski enjoyed a double date with Matt Damon and his wife, Luciana Barroso, at The Corner Store in Manhattan’s Soho neighborhood on Friday night. The couples, who are neighbors in New York City, have a history of spending time together, often sharing meals and laughs.
Blunt, 41, looked effortlessly chic in an all-black ensemble, pairing a high-necked blouse with black lace pants and sneakers. Her auburn hair cascaded in loose waves, complementing her natural makeup. Krasinski, 45, opted for a classic look, wearing a black pea coat over navy blue pinstripe pants and a white shirt. The couple carried to-go bags as they left the restaurant, which has been ranked fourth worldwide by a leading culinary guide.
Barroso, 48, turned heads in a black mini-dress paired with opaque stockings and ankle boots, topped with a floor-length burgundy coat. Damon, 54, sported a navy blue V-neck sweater and matching pants, his signature salt-and-pepper beard hinting at his upcoming role in Christopher Nolan‘s adaptation of Homer‘s The Odyssey.
The film, set for release on July 17, 2026, will reunite Damon with Nolan after their collaboration on Oppenheimer. The star-studded cast includes Anne Hathaway, Zendaya, Tom Holland, Lupita Nyong'o, Robert Pattinson, and Charlize Theron. Damon and Blunt have previously worked together in The Adjustment Bureau (2011) and Oppenheimer (2023), solidifying their friendship both on and off-screen.
In a 2023 interview with Access Hollywood, the couples revealed their close-knit relationship. ‘We literally ask for milk (from each other),’ Blunt said, to which Damon quipped, ‘Or tequila.’ Their camaraderie extends beyond casual dinners, as they often support each other’s projects and share life in the same New York City building.
