Emily In Paris Cast Season 5 Netflix

LOS ANGELES, Calif. — The Netflix series “Emily in Paris” will not feature Camille Razat in its fifth season, as announced by the streaming giant on Thursday. Razat, who has played the character Camille since the show’s inception, will not return for the upcoming season, which is set to begin production in May.

In “Emily in Paris,” Razat portrays Camille, a complex character who serves as both a confidante and frenemy to the lead character, Emily, played by Lily Collins. Camille’s romantic involvement with Gabriel, portrayed by Lucas Bravo, has provided a significant portion of the show’s drama over the last four seasons. Netflix did not provide additional details about Razat’s exit.

Returning cast members include Collins, Bravo, Ashley Park, Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu, and Lucien Laviscount. Newcomer Eugenio Franceschini will reprise his role as Marcello, Emily’s Italian love interest, who will complicate her already tumultuous relationships.

Bravo, who previously expressed concerns about his character’s narrative, will continue to be part of the ensemble. In an interview with IndieWire last year, he revealed, “I was questioning if I wanted to be part of Season 5,” reflecting his discomfort with the character’s arc.

Season 5’s production will begin in Rome and then move to Paris later in the summer. The narrative will pick up after Season 4 concluded with Emily embarking on a new project to launch a branch of Agence Grateau in Rome, while navigating her complex relationships with both Marcello and Gabriel.

“Marcello is a whole other adventure for Emily, who seeks a better work/life balance,” Collins explained to Tudum. “We want to see her smile without condition, to see her grow beyond just vacation mode.”

No release date for Season 5 has been made public, but excited fans are looking forward to the continuation of Emily’s adventures in the City of Light and beyond.
