Acclaimed actor and director Andy Serkis is set to direct a highly anticipated sequel in the beloved ‘Lord of the Rings‘ franchise alongside the original Oscar-winning team. Warner Bros. Discovery has announced the production of ‘Lord of the Rings: The Hunt for Gollum‘, with Serkis at the helm.

Having portrayed the iconic character Gollum in past ‘Lord of the Rings’ films, Serkis’s return as both director and potentially as the voice of Gollum has sparked immense excitement among fans.
