Eric Dane Family Outing

West Hollywood, CA – Eric Dane was seen enjoying a rare family outing with his wife, Rebecca Gayheart, and their youngest daughter, Georgia, 13, on Thursday evening. The trio visited the popular sushi restaurant, Sushi Park, where Dane appeared to be in good spirits despite his ongoing battle with ALS.

Dane, 52, known for his role in ‘Grey's Anatomy,’ was dressed casually in a black T-shirt and beige pants, while Gayheart complemented his style in black leather pants and a white tunic. Georgia matched her father’s look with her own black T-shirt.

This outing follows Dane’s revelation last month at the Emmy Awards, where he missed the show due to being hospitalized after a fall. “ALS is a nasty disease,” he told the Washington Post in October. He expressed his disappointment about missing the Emmys, stating he was “really upset” about the situation.

The actor first shared his diagnosis publicly in April, saying, “I am grateful to have my loving family by my side as we navigate this next chapter.” Gayheart, who married Dane in 2004, opened up about the family’s struggles during an interview in September. “My girls are really suffering, and we’re just trying to get through it,” she said.

Gayheart spoke about how their daughters, Billie, 15, and Georgia, are coping, noting, “They’re taking it day by day.” She added that they have professional therapists helping them through this tough time, emphasizing that they are trying to handle the situation with “dignity, grace, and love.”

Although Gayheart admitted there hasn’t been a “positive nugget” amidst the family’s challenges, she mentioned their situation has brought them closer together. “Eric will always be my family, whether we’re married or not,” she said, reflecting on their enduring connection regardless of their relationship status.
