Actor Esha Deol and her husband, Bharat Takhtani, have announced their decision to separate after being married for 11 years. The couple released a joint statement expressing their mutual and amicable decision to part ways.

In the statement, Esha and Bharat emphasized that the well-being and best interests of their two children, Radhya and Miraya, are their utmost priority. They kindly requested privacy during this transition.

Esha Deol, the daughter of veteran actors Dharmendra and Hema Malini, married Bharat Takhtani in a quiet ceremony at the ISKCON temple in Mumbai in 2012. The couple welcomed their first daughter, Radhya, in 2017, and their second daughter, Miraya, in 2019.

Esha Deol, known for her notable roles in Bollywood films such as Dhoom, Dus, and No Entry, recently made a comeback with the thriller series Rudra: The Edge of Darkness, in which she starred alongside actor Ajay Devgn on the streaming platform Disney+ Hotstar. She also appeared on the show Hunter Tootega Nahi Todega on Amazon Mini TV.

Last year, Esha Deol received a National Award for Special Mention for her short film Ek Duaa. Her family had a successful year as well, with her father Dharmendra starring in Karan Johar’s Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani, her brother Sunny Deol featuring in Gadar 2, and her brother Bobby Deol appearing in Animal.
