College Gameday Penn State Oregon Ducks

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. – ESPN’s College GameDay will return to University Park on Saturday, September 27, for the 12th time as the No. 2 Nittany Lions prepare to face the No. 6 Oregon Ducks. The highly anticipated game kicks off at 7:30 p.m. ET on NBC.

The popular pregame show will broadcast live from the Old Main lawn from 9 a.m. to noon, marking the 26th time College GameDay has been hosted at a Penn State game site, including two unofficial visits.

This year’s appearance continues a trend, as it is the second consecutive season College GameDay has featured Penn State at home. Last year, it was live from outside Beaver Stadium for the Penn State-Ohio State game on November 2.

Rece Davis will host the show for his 11th season, joined by analysts Kirk Herbstreit, Desmond Howard, Pat McAfee, and Nick Saban. Fans are encouraged to wear white to embrace the traditional White Out atmosphere.

To prepare for the event, Pollock Road will close starting at 5 p.m. on Tuesday to accommodate setup. Fans interested in standing in the GameDay “Pit” can join for free, but should adhere to specific regulations by ESPN and Penn State.

The Beaver Stadium parking lots will open at 8 a.m. on Saturday. Students and attendees can park downtown at three garages—Beaver Avenue, Fraser Street, and Pugh Street—each within a three-block distance to Old Main lawn. Metered street parking is also available.

CATA offers campus routes and a Football Game Day Shuttle. Fans are urged to keep Old Main Lawn clean by using recycling bins for bottles and cans and disposing of waste properly.

Penn State appreciates everyone showing their spirit while maintaining a green environment.
