Exciting Weekend Events in Glen Mills and Ardmore: Don’t Miss Out!

GLEN MILLS, Pa. — Those looking for a lively weekend filled with diverse activities in the western suburbs need look no further. A classic car meetup, a vibrant brunch market, and more will take place, promising a weekend of fun for families and enthusiasts alike.
On Friday, April 11, at 4 p.m., Chesterbrook will celebrate the grand opening of its community beer garden. Attendees can enjoy a selection of local beers and mouth-watering cheesesteaks from Steve’s Prince of Steaks while listening to live music. The beer garden will feature rotating food trucks throughout the season and host local musicians every Thursday through Saturday.
Ardmore will come alive on Sunday, April 13, as the Funky Brunch and Market returns to Ardmore Music Hall. With over 20 local vendors, artisans, and craftspeople, attendees can shop for unique items while enjoying live music from Cordelia Blue. This family-friendly event is free and will include snacks and craft beer tastings.
Also on Sunday, car enthusiasts can head to Arasapha Farms for the monthly Cars & Coffee event starting at 8 a.m. Hosted by Douglassville’s Collectible Cars, the event invites families to showcase exotic vehicles, while enjoying complimentary coffee and donuts. Professional photography will also be available for participants. Registration is free, and spectators are welcome to join in the fun.
For families looking for Easter festivities, the American Helicopter Museum‘s Heli Hopper event will feature hands-on crafts, multiple egg hunts, and an opportunity to meet educational animals from Brandywine Zoo. The spring celebration runs through April 12 and promises a memorable day for attendees of all ages.
Additionally, Media Restaurant Week continues until Saturday, April 12, featuring 16 local restaurants that offer a variety of special menus and prix-fixe meals, showcasing everything from American to Asian cuisines.
Young builders can engage in a LEGO racing event at the Plymouth Meeting Mall through April 27, where they can construct their own race cars and compete in challenges. Admission to this event is $22 per person.
