FactSet Names Sanoke Viswanathan New CEO, Phil Snow to Retire

NORWALK, Conn., June 03, 2025 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — FactSet, a global financial digital platform, has announced the appointment of Sanoke Viswanathan as its new Chief Executive Officer, effective early September 2025. He will succeed Phil Snow, who has led the company for the past decade and is retiring after a respected 30-year career.
Viswanathan joins FactSet from JPMorgan Chase, where he served as CEO of International Consumer and Wealth. He has significant experience in banking and wealth management, which aligns well with FactSet’s focus on innovation through AI and analytics.
Phil Snow will act as a senior advisor until the end of 2025 to ensure a smooth transition. Under his guidance, FactSet has seen substantial growth, more than doubling its revenue and achieving consistent double-digit earnings per share growth.
Robin A. Abrams, Chair of FactSet’s Board of Directors, expressed confidence in Viswanathan’s capabilities, praising his history of transforming global organizations. “His track record in implementing technology-driven growth strategies will be key as we move forward,” she said.
Snow reflected on his tenure, thanking the FactSet team for their dedication. “The time is right for a new leader to take the company forward. Sanoke brings the strategic vision needed for our next chapter,” he stated.
Viswanathan expresses enthusiasm about leading FactSet, noting the company’s role in the financial sector and its innovative approach. “I look forward to evolving FactSet’s value proposition and driving sustainable growth as I work closely with Phil and the team,” he said.
