In a related event, professional surfer Aritz Aranburu visited Barcelona to collaborate with Seiko, showcasing the brand’s latest watch innovations. Aranburu expressed gratitude for Seiko’s support of his foundation, ‘Kind Surf,’ which helps children with various disabilities experience surfing.
“We were recently nominated for a Laureus Award, which placed us in the Top 6 of best NGOs,” he said. As he competes less, Aranburu now focuses on sharing his passion with the world. “The ocean has therapeutic powers,” he noted. “Surfing allows us to explore different cultures and meet new people.”
