Filmmaker Rian Johnson’s T-Street Studios Welcomes Katie McNeill as Producer
Filmmaker Rian Johnson and Ram Bergman’s independent studio, T-Street, continues to expand their team with the addition of seasoned producer Katie McNeill. McNeill, known for her work at Jamie Patricof’s Hunting Lane, brings her 15-year career experience to T-Street alongside producers Ben LeClair, Leopold Hughes, and Nikos Karamigios.
The past year has been a successful one for T-Street, with the release of critically acclaimed films like American Fiction and Fair Play. American Fiction, a collaboration between T-Street and MRC, recently received five Oscar nominations, including Best Picture. Orion acquired the film, which was then released by Amazon MGM.
Similarly, Fair Play, the debut film from writer/director Chloe Domont, was acquired by Netflix after a fierce bidding war at the Sundance Film Festival. The success of these projects has positioned T-Street as a prominent player in the industry.
Looking ahead, T-Street is preparing to produce the third installment of the popular Benoit Blanc franchise for Netflix. Rian Johnson, who directed the previous films Knives Out and Glass Onion, will once again take the helm, with Daniel Craig reprising his role as the charismatic sleuth.
T-Street has also made waves in the television landscape, with the release of the series Poker Face, starring Natasha Lyonne, and the upcoming Netflix series 3 Body Problem, created by David Benioff, Dan Weiss, and Alexander Woo, the masterminds behind Game of Thrones. 3 Body Problem is set to premiere in March.
Katie McNeill’s impressive producing credits include films such as Wildflower, Holler, Us Kids, and Mississippi Grind. Her collaboration with talented and inspiring filmmakers has garnered critical acclaim and recognition.
Rian Johnson and Ram Bergman express their excitement in welcoming McNeill to T-Street, emphasizing their commitment to working with talented and amiable individuals. McNeill herself expresses her gratitude for the opportunity to join T-Street and her admiration for Rian and Ram’s work.
