Single's Inferno Season 4 Couples Announcement

SEOUL, South Korea — The much-anticipated finale of Netflix‘s reality dating show ‘Single’s Inferno’ Season 4 aired on February 11, 2025, revealing the couples who found love on a remote island setting. Over the course of 12 episodes, contestants vied for romantic connections, leading to emotional revelations during the final selection ceremony.

In the season’s climax, couples emerged as contestants made their long-awaited choices. Bae Ji-yeon, 25, a spatial designer, selected DJ Kim Tae-hwan, 31, despite earlier doubts regarding his sincerity. Nevertheless, the two left the island together, as Ji-yeon later expressed a sense of reassurance about her choice.

Meanwhile, 30-year-old accountant Kook Dong-ho and 25-year-old model Kim A-rin also paired up, with A-rin describing their connection as “fate,” though she added that only time would tell if their relationship would flourish.

Another standout couple was restaurateur Ahn Jong-hoon and model Kim Hye-jin, who also left hand in hand. Hye-jin attributed her decision to the depth of their shared experiences on the show.

However, the spotlight shined brightest on Lee Si-an, whose romantic journey captivated viewers throughout the season. Dubbed the female “Gwan Hee,” numerous male contestants pursued her affection. Ultimately, Si-an chose Yuk Jun-seo, expressing that her feelings were like a whirlwind. As they walked off the island together, Jun-seo playfully lifted Si-an, delighting fans with their chemistry.

While the season experienced criticism for its slow pacing and less intense romantic interactions compared to other reality dating shows, co-creator Kim Jae-won emphasized the show’s focus on emotional connection and authenticity among participants. “It’s a little more slow-cooking, and we tend to focus more on the emotional evolution of the participants,” he said in a previous interview.

Throughout Season 4, the format saw some updates, including the introduction of mid-season ‘gamechangers’ designed to disrupt established dynamics. However, Kim noted that stricter contestant divisions by gender may have limited potential romantic pairings, a factor they regretted post-filming.

As fans await confirmation about the fate of the couples post-show, anticipation grows for ‘Single’s Inferno’ Season 5, already announced by producers aiming to extend the series’ record within Korean reality television history.

Producers continue to uphold confidentiality, with contestants restricted from discussing their love lives on social media to maintain suspense. As the years go by, viewers remain curious about the authenticity of relationships formed in the heat of romance on ‘Single’s Inferno.’
