Fire Country Season 4 Trailer

BURBANK, Calif. — The trailer for the highly anticipated fourth season of “Fire Country” teases the emotional fallout from the Season 3 finale, which saw the tragic death of battalion chief Vince Leone.

In the emotional opening of the trailer, viewers learn that Vince, played by Billy Burke, did not survive the devastating fire at the memory care facility. He was trapped alongside his wife, Cal Fire Division Chief Sharon, portrayed by Diane Farr, and his father, retired battalion chief Walter Leone, played by Jeff Fahey. While Walter and Sharon escaped, Vince was lost to the flames.

“I will spend the rest of my career protecting my father’s town, my father’s station, my father’s mission,” Bode, played by Max Thieriot, declares in his heartfelt eulogy at Vince’s funeral. His grief, however, quickly transforms into ambition as he declares to his friend Jake, portrayed by Jordan Calloway, that being battalion chief is his “birthright.” This sets the stage for a serious conflict between the two characters regarding who will lead Station 42.

The stakes rise as Sharon informs the team that Station 42 is suspended from active duty, adding another layer of pressure to the mourning crew. The trailer also introduces a new character played by an Emmy-winning actor who will help the firefighters cope with their loss.

Returning to the team is Audrey, portrayed by Leven Rambin, after her dramatic exit in Season 3. Additionally, Gabriela, played by Stephanie Arcila, shares an emotional moment with Bode, telling him, “I still love you.”

Executive producers Tony Phelan and Joan Rater expressed their commitment to depicting the harsh realities of firefighting through the storyline. “We felt like the thing that was really going to shake up the show and our characters was this kind of loss,” Phelan said, emphasizing the profound impact Vince’s death will have on the younger firefighters.

The fourth season of “Fire Country” premieres Friday, October 17 at 8 PM on CBS and Paramount+, returning to its regular time slot the following week. With the looming power struggle and the need for the team to redefine itself, fans can expect an emotionally charged season ahead.
