LOS ANGELES, March 27, 2025 — Prime Video has announced the premiere date for its upcoming limited drama series, ‘The Better Sister,’ which stars Jessica Biel and Elizabeth Banks. All eight episodes are set to launch on May 29, 2025, in over 240 countries and territories worldwide.

The series, based on Alafair Burke’s novel of the same name, revolves around the tumultuous relationship between two sisters. Chloe, portrayed by Biel, is a successful media executive who leads a seemingly perfect life with her husband Adam (Corey Stoll) and teenage son Ethan (Maxwell Acee Donovan). In stark contrast, her estranged sister Nicky (Banks) battles personal struggles, including financial stability and sobriety.

The plot thickens when Adam is brutally murdered, making him the prime suspect in a shocking twist that draws the sisters back together. As they confront their complicated family history, they embark on a journey to uncover the truth behind his death.
