FKA Twigs Cancels North American Tour Dates Due to Visa Issues

LOS ANGELES, March 25, 2025 — British artist FKA Twigs announced today she will cancel the North American leg of her Eusexua Tour due to complications with her visa. The cancellation affects scheduled performances in Chicago, Toronto, and New York City set for March 26, March 30-31, and April 3-4, respectively.
In a video posted on social media, Twigs, whose real name is Tahliah Barnett, explained, “Today I was informed that production did not fill out the correct paperwork in a timely manner for us to have our visas to come to the USA and perform. By no choice of my own, I will have to pull out of my New York, Chicago, and Toronto shows.” The announcement comes just hours before her first performance was set to take place in Chicago.
Twigs expressed her disappointment, stating, “I don’t take this lightly. I’m completely devastated, to be honest with you. All I want to do is be there with you and bring Eusexua to you.” She is currently in the process of investigating the situation further, ensuring she has support to rectify the issue.
Regarding rescheduling plans, Twigs assured her fans that information will be shared soon. “We’re going to reschedule, and I’m going to come to you harder and stronger than ever,” she added. “I can’t wait to bring Eusexua to you.”
The singer had previously dealt with challenges during the tour, having already canceled two shows in Prague and Berlin earlier this month due to “shipping issues.” Despite the latest setback, her upcoming performances at the Coachella music festival are still confirmed for April 11.
FKA Twigs released her third album, Eusexua, on January 24, 2025. The album features a title track co-produced by Koreless and Eartheater and is noted as her first studio release since 2019’s Magdalene. The tour commenced earlier this month in Europe, where audiences have responded positively to her performances.
In addition to the tour’s production dilemmas, Twigs reflected on the creative journey leading to Eusexua, describing it as a blend of spiritual exploration and personal growth.
“EUSEXUA is really this mixture of slightly psychedelic, childlike, playful exploration of what it is to be human,” she said in a previous interview. “But then mixed with that, this raw, dirty, hard, sexual grit as an undertone.” She also mentioned creating a healing program based on eleven pillars of movement to complement the album, reflecting her experiences as a dancer.
As fans await updates on rescheduled dates, Twigs continues to prepare for her next shows in Mexico City on April 6 and await Coachella performances, emphasizing her commitment to connecting deeply with her audience.
