Florida State and Stanford Release Final Availability Report for Tonight’s Game
Palo Alto, California — The final availability report for the Florida State Seminoles and the Stanford Cardinal was released two hours before their kickoff at 10:30 p.m. ET tonight. The game takes place at Stanford Stadium and is broadcast on ESPN.
Both teams are looking for a much-needed win. Florida State has lost three consecutive games by narrow margins, while Stanford has struggled as well, winning only two of their last five outings, currently sitting at 2-4 for the season.
Earlier this week, Florida State confirmed several key players would miss tonight’s game due to injuries. Running back Kam Davis, wide receiver Gavin Blackwell, and linebacker Stefon Thompson are among those ruled out. Additionally, cornerback Donny Hiebert and tight end Chase Loftin are also sidelined.
The Seminoles listed five players as questionable: wide receiver Duce Robinson, running back Roydell Williams, and linebacker Caleb LaVallee among them. In contrast, they reported six players as probable, including quarterback Tommy Castellanos and defensive back Edwin Joseph.
Stanford faces its own issues, with cornerback Aaron Morris being ruled out. The Cardinal will also miss key players like running back Tuna Altahir and wide receiver David Pantelis.
As the kickoff approaches, the final count of missing players stands at 26, with 15 players unavailable for Stanford and 11 for Florida State. This matchup promises high stakes as both teams aim to turn their seasons around.
The statuses for players can change, with some listed as game-time decisions, including Florida State’s Williams and Stanford’s Collin Wright. Fans eagerly anticipate how these last-minute updates will affect the game.
