Fortnite Og Season 3 Trailer Meteor

LOS ANGELES, Calif. — Epic Games is set to launch Fortnite OG Season 3 on March 25, 2025, reviving nostalgia from its early days with a twist involving meteor impacts. This season promises to enhance the gameplay experience with new content and features based on the original storyline that captivated players back in 2018.

The Fortnite OG experience draws heavily on its origins, particularly the events of Season 3, where a massive meteor appeared over the game’s island, fundamentally altering the gameplay landscape. Epic has released teasers showing an astronaut helmet reflecting the Fortnite island and the meteor itself, hinting at an exciting return to this iconic moment. The teaser also features an astronaut wearing a studded leather jacket, showcasing a blend of classic skins.

Starting with Season 3, players can anticipate a revamped OG Pass. The new pass introduces a selection of skins that remix fan-favorite characters: Power Chord with an astronaut helmet, Rex in heavy armor, and a knight version of Raven. This is a notable shift as the previous OG passes featured more original skins, whereas this season appears to focus more on shop-oriented content.

The battle pass for Season 3 boasts 45 tiers of exclusive rewards, including three new outfits available for purchase at 1,000 V-Bucks, equating to approximately $8.99. Those who subscribe to the Fortnite Crew can access the pass as part of their monthly fee. In addition to the new skins, classic gear will make a return, enriching the loot pool.

Players can expect to see the introduction of several iconic weapons, such as the Guided Missile and Hunting Rifle, alongside the anticipated arrival of new gadgets and items throughout the season. The popular 50v50 Limited Time Mode also returns, allowing large-scale clashes between teams, a hallmark feature introduced in early years of Fortnite.

The map remains largely unchanged from Season 2, but several new gameplay dynamics, including falling meteorite fragments, promise to enhance player interaction and strategy. As such changes unfold, players will notice thematic updates reminiscent of the original event.

In a statement, Epic Games hinted, “As we revisit the history of Fortnite, we are excited for players to experience the nostalgic elements that initially drew them into the game, alongside new content that keeps the gameplay fresh and engaging.”

For players eager to dive back into Fortnite’s roots, Season 3 is poised to deliver intense action as they brace for impacts and navigate the evolving landscape of the island.
