Fortnite Welcomes Cowboy Bebop in New Crime-Themed Season

LOS ANGELES, Feb. 21, 2025 – The popular battle royale game Fortnite has launched its latest season, Chapter 6, Season 2: LAWLESS!, introducing a crime-themed adventure featuring characters from the iconic anime Cowboy Bebop. The collaboration includes new skins, quests, and a host of items that promise to engage fans of both Fortnite and the beloved series.

The addition of Spike Spiegel and Faye Valentine marks Fortnite’s ongoing efforts to collaborate with popular anime franchises. The new season is set against a backdrop reminiscent of heist-centric games like Grand Theft Auto, where players can rob banks, hijack armored vehicles, and explore a gritty urban landscape.

Starting March 1, Fortnite players can participate in a series of Cowboy Bebop quests to earn exclusive rewards, including a limited-time weapon wrap and a loading screen. All quests will be available until March 18, 2025, giving players ample opportunity to complete the challenges.

Players can purchase Spike Spiegel and Faye Valentine skins starting February 28, allowing them to embody these legendary characters directly in-game. The excitement surrounding the new skins is already palpable among fans, many of whom are eagerly counting down the days until they can unlock these coveted outfits.

Chapter 6, Season 2 runs until May 2, 2025, and offers a number of new features, including gold-infused water that grants special powers, fictional cryptocurrency for purchasing in-game equipment, and new locations like Crime City, a hub for all things illicit.

The vibrant map has also introduced a new antagonist, Fletcher Kane, a crime boss whose henchmen complicate player heists, adding depth to the gameplay experience. Players can steal from Kane’s armored convoys and trains for big rewards, but doing so won’t be without risk as rival players may attempt to thwart these high-stakes operations.

The season’s new Battle Pass features various rewards themed around crime and adventure, allowing players to accumulate experience points (XP) across all game modes. “Our Battle Pass delivers exclusive content that speaks to the spirit of the season,” said an Epic Games representative.
